Our Services

Primary Care

We focus on delivering patient-centered, integrative and functional primary care. Our primary care clinicians have received extensive training in both conventional and holistic/natural medicine, enabling them to better guide you through the challenging landscape found within today’s healthcare system.

At our center, you have the choice of two wonderful providers for your primary care needs. We welcome you to read more about our primary care providers, Allison Hamza and Angie Thompson.

The providers at the Hirsch Center also provide consultations for those patient who already have (and want to keep) their primary care provider (PCP). Your primary care provider will perform your annual preventive exams and keep track of your preventive screening (colonoscopy, pap smear, mammogram, prostate, etc). Our providers will handle the rest of your care as we look for, and reverse, the cause(s) of your medical problems.

Please be aware that at this time, Dr. Hirsch only provides consultations, not primary care.

Personal Growth and Development Coaching helps individuals clarify and articulate their optimal vision for health using tools such as curiosity, self discovery and accountability. Through coaching, individuals have an opportunity to explore their life deeply and bring their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual lives into greater alignment. Coaching can help move you into the future you most want to live.

IV Nutritional Therapy

When a patient has poor digestion and absorption, or is suffering from a number of chronic and acute diseases, infusing vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream can be more effective than oral supplementation. Bypassing the gastrointestinal tract allows for a more potent treatment that can dramatically help the patient in their healing process.

The IV Therapy program at the Hirsch Center for Integrative Medicine is overseen by our physicians, registered nurse, and medical assistant. Individual treatments can run from half an hour to three hours, depending on the specific protocol being administered. A complete course of treatment usually consists of multiple IV sessions.

Nutrition Consults

Many of the health problems that plague modern society result from weaknesses in the body’s physiological foundations as a result of poor nutrition. Working with a nutritional therapist can help you to understand and reverse the negative effects of the modern diet on your health and help you feel more energized and alive.

Far Infrared Sauna

Far Infrared saunas can be a helpful part of any detoxification program, and can significantly expedite the detoxification process. The Far Infrared Sauna technology warms your tissues several inches below the surface, which can enhance your natural metabolic processes, circulation and helps oxygenate your tissues. Sweating on a regular basis can help restore the skins natural elimination function, which can help reduce your toxic load. Our sauna is open to the public and can seat two people at a time (for the price of one). Learn more…

Life Takes Practice

Life Takes Practice™ is designed to highlight specific practices that support the growth and development of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. Many of us arrive in our adult lives unprepared for the challenges and nuances of the real world. At the same time we forget the youthful playfulness we once possessed that kept us creative and curious about life. We forget that many of the things we do each day once required practice. There was a time when we needed to learn to talk, walk, ride a bike, share, or be kind to others. Capacities we most likely take for granted these days. Learn more…

Thermography uses infrared cameras to detect subtle heat elevation associated with inflammation or tumors, which tend to have more blood flow and higher metabolic rates than normal tissue. Thermography has been shown to pick up abnormalities in the heat in the breast many years before a lesion would likely show up in a mammogram. Thermography is not meant to completely replace mammograms however. Our practitioners understand how and when to use both technologies in service of the patients health. Although Thermography is often used to assess breast health, men can also use it for preventive care. Scans can be useful for assessing the head and neck, chest, upper and lower back and abdomen. For more information talk with your provider. To schedule contact Karmen Lawson at 971-219-3554. You do not need to be a patient to make an appointment.

Conscious Eldering

Conscious Aging is a movement to redefine the boundaries of aging and support our sage-ing elders in fully experiencing and sharing their lives. At HCIM Conscious Aging is also a group. The group is loosely structured and a blend of sharing, reflection, contemplation, strategizing and community building. From our discussions we have also developed a Conscious Eldering Resource page to aid seniors in accessing the resources they need to age mindfully and intentionally. We meet Mondays from 1:00-3:00 in Suite G. Drop-ins welcome.
