Our Services

Primary Care

We focus on delivering patient-centered, integrative and functional primary care. Our primary care clinicians have received extensive training in both conventional and holistic/natural medicine, enabling them to better guide you through the challenging landscape found within today’s healthcare system.

At our center, you have the choice of two wonderful providers for your primary care needs. We welcome you to read more about our primary care providers, Allison Hamza and Angie Thompson.

The providers at the Hirsch Center also provide consultations for those patient who already have (and want to keep) their primary care provider (PCP). Your primary care provider will perform your annual preventive exams and keep track of your preventive screening (colonoscopy, pap smear, mammogram, prostate, etc). Our providers will handle the rest of your care as we look for, and reverse, the cause(s) of your medical problems.

Please be aware that at this time, Dr. Hirsch only provides consultations, not primary care.

Health Coaching

Integrative Health Coaching helps individuals clarify and articulate their optimal vision for health using tools such as curiosity, self discovery and accountability. Through coaching, individuals have an opportunity to explore their life deeply and bring their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual lives into greater alignment. Health coaching can help move you into the future you most want to live.

IV Nutritional Therapy

When a patient has poor digestion and absorption, or is suffering from a number of chronic and acute diseases, infusing vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream can be more effective than oral supplementation. Bypassing the gastrointestinal tract allows for a more potent treatment that can dramatically help the patient in their healing process.

The IV Therapy program at the Hirsch Center for Integrative Medicine is overseen by our physicians, registered nurse, and medical assistant. Individual treatments can run from half an hour to three hours, depending on the specific protocol being administered. A complete course of treatment usually consists of multiple IV sessions.

Nutrition Consultations

Many of the health problems that plague modern society result from weaknesses in the body’s physiological foundations as a result of poor nutrition. Working with a nutritional therapist can help you to understand and reverse the negative effects of the modern diet on your health and help you feel more energized and alive.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Craniosacral Therapy can be used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is also effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Far Infrared Sauna

Far Infrared saunas can be a helpful part of any detoxification program, and can significantly expedite the detoxification process. The Far Infrared Sauna technology warms your tissues several inches below the surface, which can enhance your natural metabolic processes, circulation and helps oxygenate your tissues. Sweating on a regular basis can help restore the skins natural elimination function, which can help reduce your toxic load. Our sauna is open to the public and can seat two people at a time (for the price of one). Learn more…

Group Meditation

Research shows that mindfulness is a powerful tool to help prevent or even reverse disease. Practicing mindfulness can improve physical, mental and emotional health. Being mindful throughout our day, and especially in time of difficulty, requires practice. If you want to discover the joy of living a mindful life please join us each Friday at 9:00am for group mindfulness meditation practice. The sessions are guided by Stacy Hirsch.

HCIM Online Support

Due to our success in solving some of the more difficult health challenges we tend to attract patients with tough cases. Over time, a need has developed to support people not only in the office, but also throughout the course of their treatment and as they move toward optimal health. So we have created an online support forum where patients can support other patients.

Life Takes Practice

Life Takes Practice™ is designed to highlight specific practices that support the growth and development of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. Many of us arrive in our adult lives unprepared for the challenges and nuances of the real world. At the same time we forget the youthful playfulness we once possessed that kept us creative and curious about life. We forget that many of the things we do each day once required practice. There was a time when we needed to learn to talk, walk, ride a bike, share, or be kind to others. Capacities we most likely take for granted these days. Learn more…

Walking Group

Over the years HCIM has organized a walking group for patients and the larger Olympia community. Historically the group has met on Saturdays and walked a lap or two at Capitol Lake. We are in the process of organizing the group through the Life Takes Practice members feature of the website. This will allow for individuals to create spontaneous walks any day of the week and easily coordinate with other members. Stay tuned for more details…
