Start your day off right – with water!

Today’s blog is a reminder to start your day off with 1-2 liters of
water. Why? During the night our bodies continue to produce waste
products out of every cell and in the intestinal track. In order to
“flush” these products out of the body, we need water. Water can help
with detoxification, weight loss, constipation, satiety and energy.
Drinking 2 liters of water prior to noon can have as stimulating an
effect as a cup of coffee!

Did you know that most of the time when you feel hungry, you’re
actually thirsty? Our thirst notification mechanism is poor, so hunger
predominates. We are approximately 80% water, so stands to reason we
need more water than food.
We need water…drink it up!
